With aluminium sliders, the number of tracks decides everything.
Aluminium sliding windows are the most common window type in Kolkata flats built since the 1990s, and the first thing we need to know about yours is how many tracks it runs on. A three-track window usually has a spare channel that will take a mesh panel directly. A two-track window does not, so the screen has to be carried on a track fitted alongside.
That single fact changes the system, the price and the installation time — which is why it is the first question we ask when someone sends measurements on WhatsApp.

Installation
Every job follows the same seven steps — home visit, measurement, written quotation, confirmation, fitting and follow-up. The full process is set out here. Framed and tracked systems 7–8 days; Velcro panels 2–3 days.
Maintenance
Clean the channel. An aluminium track with grit in it will stiffen and eventually wear the roller.
How pricing works
We do not publish a rate card, because a custom-fabricated job does not have one. Your quotation is built from the measured area of each opening, the system and material you choose, the fabrication involved and the installation work required. The minimum chargeable area is 10 sq ft per window and 12 sq ft for balcony work. Every job is invoiced with GST.
Installation work carries a 24 months warranty, with the terms set out in your quotation.

About aluminium windows
How do I count my tracks?
Look down into the channel at the bottom of the frame and count the separate grooves the sashes run in. Two grooves is a two-track window, three is a three-track. Send us a photograph looking straight down into the channel and we can tell you.
