In most Kolkata flats the balcony is where the mosquitoes get in.
Screen every window in a flat and leave the balcony door open, and you have achieved nothing. The balcony is the largest unscreened opening in a typical Kolkata home and it is usually the one people use most, which is exactly why a fixed panel does not survive there.
We mosquito-proof balconies with our pleated sliding system. It draws across the full opening and folds back into a slim cassette when you want the balcony open. Minimum chargeable area for balcony work is 12 sq ft.

Installation
Every job follows the same seven steps — home visit, measurement, written quotation, confirmation, fitting and follow-up. The full process is set out here. Usually 7–8 days after confirmation.
Maintenance
Sweep the bottom track. Balcony tracks collect dust and grit faster than internal ones, especially in the months before the rains.
How pricing works
We do not publish a rate card, because a custom-fabricated job does not have one. Your quotation is built from the measured area of each opening, the system and material you choose, the fabrication involved and the installation work required. The minimum chargeable area is 10 sq ft per window and 12 sq ft for balcony work. Every job is invoiced with GST.
Installation work carries a 24 months warranty, with the terms set out in your quotation.

What is the minimum chargeable area for a balcony?
12 sq ft. Balcony systems involve a cassette, channels and a track, so the fabrication cost does not scale down below that.
Can you do bird netting and mosquito screening on the same balcony?
Yes, and it is a common combination. The bird net handles pigeons on the outer face; the pleated system handles insects at the door. They are quoted separately because they are different jobs.
